  • Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island - creates wishes for children with critical illnesses. Click the "Make a Referral" on this page to refer a child.
  • Wigs and Wishes grants wishes to children who are terminally ill with cancer.
    • Complete the "Submit Your Wish!" online form found here: https://www.wigsandwishes.org/submit-a-wish.php 
    • Wigs and Wishes will process the request, follow-up with any questions, and email the details once the wist is approved! 

 

• ADULT Wish Granting Agencies
  • Dream Foundation - wish-granting for ADULTS facing life-threatening illness
    • Special Hospice Application- must be completed by HOSPICE social worker.
    • Emergency Dreams - If the life expectancy of the applicant is two months or less, we consider the dream to be an emergency. Emergency dreams get processed the day we receive them and verified ASAP. If an emergency dream is for a bedside reunion or similar, our turnaround time can happen within 24 to 48 hours. If an emergency dreams requires travel by the applicant, we will be very careful to verify it with the doctor for approval. Such requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and must meet approval of our review board.

  • Wish Upon a Wedding - Weddings and vow renewals for couples facing serious illness or life-altering circumstances
  • Parents/Families
    • Jack & Jill Foundation- for parents with late-stage cancer (for families with kids under 18 who are facing the imminent loss of a parent to cancer). More: Creating WOW! Experiences, MGH Community News, October 2019.
